Bhopal: Kamal Nath attacks Shivraj Singh Chouhan ahead of Narendra Modi’s visit

Ahead of PM Narendra Modi’s visit, PCC chief Kamal Nath said that CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan must have painted a rosy picture about the development of state in front of PM Narendra Modi but the reality is different. He added that in fact 21,000 farmers have committed suicide in the last 15 years. On one hand, PM claims to make farming more profitable on the contrary CM is suggesting farmers to give up farming.

He alleged that those responsible for killing of 6 farmers in police firing in Mandsaur on June 6, 2017 are still roaming scot free while their kin are awaiting justice. He claimed that affected farmers have received compensation worth Rs.2-200 under insurance scheme for farmers which was launched by PM Modi in February 2016.

He claimed that crores of rupees have been given to insurance companies but meager amount has been distributed to farmers.
He blamed the tax of Rs 41 per liter on petrol and diesel imposed by MP government for hike in their prices in MP and said that the public demands to bring fuel prices under the purview of GST.

BJP claims that it has transformed MP into swarnim –Madhya Pradesh but the fact is that names of eight districts of MP are amongst the 101 most backward districts of the country. He claimed that MP leads in suicides cases in India. He said that the rate of has increased by 53 per cent.  1.5 crore youths in MP are unemployed and still BJP is painting a rosy picture.
