Man struck by lightening, dies

Coimbatore: A 23-year-old tender coconut seller died after lightening struck him at Perur on the outskirts of the city on Tuesday evening. The victim was identified as S Vignesh, 22, a native of Pachapalayam near Perur.
On Tuesday evening, he was washing his hands in a tap. Unfortunately, a lightening struck him and he fell on the ground. Immediately the locals informed 108 ambulance services. Vignesh was sent to the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) where doctors declared him as brought dead.
