BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, on Monday, clarified his tweet on Ram Temple. Speaking on the same, he said, “At least 2 years are needed for a decision by 7-judge bench on whether Masjid is an essential part of Islam. Why should we wait for so long? The Supreme Court is not after all supreme to the Constitution. Supreme Court is a pillar, and another pillar is Parliament.” He further added, “If Parliament makes a wrong law that is against the Constitution, Supreme Court becomes Supreme. But the right to make a law is with the Parliament. I said we should choose the route of Parliament, didn’t say that we are going to take that route.”
