Future of business travel at the forefront during conference

Turkish Airlines Corporate Club Conference was held on 17-18 September in Istanbul, in partnership with the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) saw industry industry leaders discussing  the future of business travel.

 

 

There were 900 participants  from 71 countries it had leading names in the industry like Mike Walsh, he was the  keynote speaker, the CEO of Tomorrow, and best-selling author of the book “Futuretainment”.

 

“Building for the Future” is the theme for 2018’s conference  and is working on three levels, Turkey as a country, Turkish Airlines and a global flag carrier and for the travel industry.

 

 

 

With the launch the Istanbul New Airport on 29 October 2018, expected to be the largest airport in the world and will be positioning Istanbul as the ‘Hub of the World’. It will have 200 million passengers per year post completion.

 

 

Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee of Turkish Airlines, M. İlker Aycı  said that  2018 is a highly significant year for the future of Turkish Airlines with the opening of Istanbul New Airport in October.  As the new home of Turkish Airlines, this will allow us for greater capacity and increased network. Corporate travelers will have a streamlined and innovative services and state-of-the-art Lounge facilities.
