GREATER NOIDA: A 35-year-old milk supplier went missing after he left his home in Dhakwala village in Dankaur on Saturday around 5.30am to supply milk on his motorcycle.

The family of Suresh Nagar launched a search after an hour and found his bike and milk cans unattended near a powerhouse in the village, which is at a distance of 500 metres from his home. Later, they filed a missing report, fearing abduction. The family said they had not received any ransom calls till Sunday night.

Raj Singh, pradhan of the village, told TOI that he may have been abducted. He has no enmity with anyone.

Meanwhile, Farmood Ali Pundir, SHO at Dankaur police station, said during investigation, they met a man from the village from whom Suresh had taken a lift on Saturday morning and had mentioned that he had to go to Gazipur area in Delhi. “His mobile phone’s last location has shown Faridabad where he had switched it on once, but after that, he switched off his phone. Also, another native of the village has confirmed that he had taken a lift from him till Atta Gujran village from where he was going towards Ghazipur,” he added.

However, the family has denied knowing about his plans to go to Delhi. A probe is on.
