KOCHI: RSS, in a meeting held on Sunday, has decided to start an agitation demanding enactment of law for construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, said Antharashtra Hindu Parishat (AHP) international president and former leader of VHP Pravin Togadia. Speaking to media in Kochi on Sunday, he said that he had the audio recording of the meeting and would release it soon.

He also stated that PM Modi, who had assumed power with a mission to construct Ram temple, betrayed Hindus. “When I demanded for enactment of law in Parliament for Ram temple (construction), they told me to abandon the demand ,” Togadia said. He said that he had to quit RSS as he was not ready to surrender the ideology and values. He said that five officebearers of RSS including general secretary Suresh (Bhaiyyaji) Joshi attended Sunday’s meeting.

Togadia further said, “Modi had been an advocate of Ram. Now, he has become advocate of Rahim. He had been elected for enacting law for Ram temple but enacted law for Triple Talaq.”

“On SC/ST Act, Modi said “no” to court and “yes” to Parliament. Similarly, on Ram temple issue, he said “no” to Parliament and “yes” to court,” Togadia said.
