Xiaomi set to launch Mi Band 3, new Air purifier and TVs on September 27

Indian smartphone market leader Xiaomi is going to hold an event on September 27 where it is expected to launch a couple of devices that does not include a smartphone. The company is running a "Smarter Living" banner on its website indicating the launch of smart home gadgets.
Xiaomi Mi Band 3, to be Amazon exclusive
The webpage also has two other images, where the first one hints at the launch of a fitness band -- Mi Band 3 -- in India. Global e-commerce portal Amazon is also running a dedicated webpage with hashtag #SmarterLiving stating that the product will be available exclusively on Amazon India. Other features of the product are stated include a bigger display, longer battery life and the ability to track more aspects. For those unaware, the Mi Band was already launched in China, Xiaomi's home country earlier this year, at CNY 169 (approximately Rs 1,800).
The Mi Band 3 features a 0.78-inch OLED touchscreen display in addition to a physical button. It has a claimed battery life of 20 days and offers up to 50 meter water resistance. The Mi Band 3 also has the capability to monitor heart rate. Just like Mi Band 2, users can receive app notifications and use the band for health management activities.
New Xiaomi Air Purifier
The company is also said to launch an Air Purifier at the event. The company took to Twitter to saying "Breath of fresh air arriving on September 27.” The company already sells Mi Air Purifier 2 in the country at Rs 8,999.

A couple of recent tweets by Xiaomi have hinted on the launch of next generation of smart TVs from the company. One tweet showed an image two TV remote controllers with one remote being able to support voice commands. Also, another tweet said "no visuals should be blurry" with image of two displays, further giving a hint that a television launch is imminent.
