PITTSBURGH, Sept. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has designed a modified toilet seat that can help provide a more stable and comfortable seat.
The patent pending PROTECT A TOILET could help to improve sanitary conditions in a residential or public bathroom. The invention could be adapted for use on most residential toilets and would provide a better level of comfort.
A detachable plunger splash shield serves to prevent bathrooms and individuals from being splashed with raw sewage when plunging or flushing the toilet.
The inventor described the invention behind the idea. "It was my own personal experience. I felt that we needed a more comfortable and stable toilet seat, and I wanted to find a way to keep the toilet and a person from splashing out water when flushed."
The original design was submitted to the Toronto office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
