Mangaldai : Darrang district administration has directed the authority of the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalya at Dhula to do the needful to bring back the inmates of the residential school after uncertainty looms large for the last six days as all the fifty four inmates left the school on Monday in panic following physical threats by a unidentified miscreants on the previous night. Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kr Barman and Superintendent of Police Sreejith T. on Saturday visited the school to take stock of the situation and possible security . Talking to media Superintendent of Police informed that two Home Guard jawans have been deployed as means of security measure of the inmates while the police has identified the miscreants who have been absconding to avoid arrest . “We have already identified the miscreants involved in the Saturday night incident and search operation is on for them . They are presently absconding , however they will be booked soon.” , observed the SP.
It may be mentioned here that uncertainty has been prevailing in the residential secondary level school under the Ministry of HRD , Govt of India for the girls from the disadvantage section as all the fifty four no of inmates have not yet returned to their institution after they had left for home on Monday in panic following an incident of unauthorized entry of few unidentified miscreants into the school campus and damage of property on Sunday night . The warden of the school Dipanjali Saharia had lodged a complaint in the Dhula Police Station and on the basis of this complaint the police has investigation by registering a case with no 419/18 U/S 448/363/511/34 IPC .
