Most of South Africa will experience a warm Heritage Day.

Warnings

The only weather warning is for an extremely high fire danger over the central and eastern parts of the Northern Cape. 

Rain

Isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers are predicted over Gauteng, Mpumalanga, North West, Free State and KwaZulu-Natal.

All coastal provinces can expect morning fog. 

Temperatures

Minimum temperatures are expected to be above 10°C in most places and maximums mostly hover in the twenties, with a few places baking at over 30°C.

It will be cooler on the coast.

Pretoria and Bloemfontein is expected to reach a high of 30°C, while Johannesburg is expected to reach a high of 28°C.

Cape Town is expected to reach a pleasant high of 24°C, while Port Elizabeth is expected to reach a high of 21°C and Durban a high of 22°C.
