Poojary, who is the architect of the temple and former KPCC president, said the festival will be held at the temple from October 10 to 19. “The ten-day Navaratri and
Mangaluru Dasara festival will be celebrated at the temple with pomp and gaiety. Festival celebrations will be inaugurated by chief minister H D Kumaraswamy. The date of CM’s visit will be announced soon,” Poojary said.
Preparations are underway to hold the event in a grand manner commencing with installation of idols of Goddess Sharada and Navadurgas on the opening day to the famed Mangaluru Dasara procession to be held on the last day.
