Chief Minister’s campaign against Modi will fall flat: BJYM

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activists staged a unique protest against the alleged failure of the Telugu Desam Party government in delivering its promises to youth, by seeking alms at Dharna Chowk here on Friday.

Addressing the gathering, BJP city president A. Sriram said the Telugu Desam Party has completely failed in keeping its commitments to the youth and warned that it would pay the price for its ineptitude.

Job dole

Mr. Sriram said Mr. Naidu was accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of cheating Andhra Pradesh for the sake of criticism, which people would not believe.

BJYM State vice-president Chikkala Rajanikant said the unemployment allowance should be increased to ₹2,000 and a large number of vacancies in various departments filled to provide jobs to youth.

Citing ‘the hype’ created around the establishment of industries, Mr. Rajanikant sought to know how many of them have been actually set up and demanded that a White Paper be published.

BJYM leaders P. Govind, G. Durga Prasad, Harish Vyas, Umamaheswara Rao, M. Rajesh, G. Ramakrishna, A. Prasad and Sai Pawan were among those present.
