NOIDA: Two security guards of Punjab National Bank circle office in Sector 1 were killed by unidentified criminals during an attempt to loot on Friday morning.
The deceased were identified as Mudrika and Mukesh. Their bodies were found with severe injuries in the guard room. The loot attempt was thwarted, said police.

Police said that in the morning a gardener reached the campus but he did not get any response from guards. The gardener informed bank manager who rushed to the spot and informed police.

Both the main doors were locked. The police broke opened the door and found the two guards with head injuries. It is suspected the two persons were killed with rods or some other objects.

Senior police officials are scanning the campus with dog squads and finger print experts. SP city Arun Kumar Singh said police have registered a case and investigating the matter from all angles.
