Marathi film ‘Ahilya – Zunj Ekaki’s Producer – Director honoured by ‘Patrakar Sangharsh Samiti’

Mumbai:  Amit Dinesh Bhai Patel, President of ‘Patrakar Sangharsh Samiti’ organized the grand release function of ‘Gujarat Patrakar Directory’ recently at Pandit Dindayal Hall, Vadodara in Gujarat. The entire function was helmed under the aegis of Mukesh Gupta. In this function, the unit of Marathi film Production Company, Sai Shree Creation’s latest outing ‘Ahilya – Zunj Ekaki’ from Mumbai were specially invited.

The invitees which included producer Sridhar Chari, director Raju Parsekar, lyricist Nitin Tendulkar, Actor Rohit Sawant were also honoured at the function. Their Marathi film ‘Ahilya – Zhun Ekaki’ is slated to release soon. Stalwarts like Shri Vrajraj Kumar Maharaj, Shri Suchetan Swami, Shastri Nayanbhai Joshi, socialist Dilip Patel, art director Chetan Chudasama and many other well-known celebrities made their presence felt on the occasion. 

Acclaimed director Raju Parsekar known for his hit films like ‘Laathi Charge’, ‘Teen Baika Fajiti Aaika’,’Saat Naa Gat’ amongst others including successful television serials like ‘Hum Sub Ek Hain’, ‘Man Mein Vishwas Hai’,’Saheb Biwi And T.V.’ was excited about his upcoming Marathi film, “Ahilya – Zunj Ekaki”. Speaking on the occasion, Raju Parsekar said, “This film is on woman empowerment.

Today in our country any girl or woman can achieve the desired goal whether she belongs from a village or a city. It is just that they have to sincerely desire of their achievement. In this film “Ahilya…” Pritam Kagne has played the title role with much deftness.”

Producer Sridhar Chari added that the film will be released within a couple of months and they are also planning to release it in other languages as well.
