RTO gives 30 day deadline for vehicles re registration

The RTO on Friday announced a 30 day window to vehicles plying in Goa and owned by Goan owners but registered outside for lesser taxes.The government has asked them to the register their vehicles from where they were purchased and re register them in Goa.
The department warned that they would be prosecuted under the Motor Vehicle act if this is not done within the given time frame.
