Share market update: Over 85 stocks defy bullish market mood, hit 52-week lows on NSE
YES Bank, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Hindustan Unilever, Tech Mahindra and Sun Pharma were among the top losers in the Nifty pack of stocks.
NEW DELHI: Over 150 stocks, including Yes Bank, Jet Airways (India), JK Tyre & Industries and Rane Holdings, hit 52-week lows on NSE during Friday's session.

Rolta India, Sagar Cements, AGC Networks, Bafna Pharmaceuticals, BEL, BEML, Byke Hospitality, Capacit'e Infraprojects, Career Point and D B Realty also featured among stocks that touched 52-week lows.

Ducon Infratechnologies, Fiem Industries, Gateway Distriparks, Godrej Properties, Greenply Industries, GTPL Hathway, IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company, IL&FS Transportation Networks, IL&FS Investment Managers, Vardhman Holdings and Vardhman Textiles too found themselves in the pack of stocks that touched 52-week lows.

However, Monnet Ispat & Energy, Deepak Nitrite, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, JSW Steel, Khaitan Electricals, SPL Industries and Wipro stood among stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE today.

Positive global cues and rupee's recovery against the US dollar gave a boost to sentiment at home.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 50 points up at 11,284, while the BSE Sensex was up 199 points at 37,321 around 11:55 am.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 36 were advancing and 14 were declining.

Axis Bank, Indian Oil Corporation, ICICI Bank, Bharti Infratel and HPCL were among the top gainers in the Nifty index.

YES Bank, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Hindustan Unilever, Tech Mahindra and Sun Pharma were among the top losers in the Nifty pack of stocks.
