Christian Michel in Dubai, out on bail, not hiding: Counsel to Times Now
Alleged AgustaWestland middleman Christian Michel James' permanent counsel Rosemary Patrizi Dos Anjos tells Times Now her client is out on bail and is in Dubai, while his passport remains seized with the UAE authorities. Michel is wanted by Indian agencies in connection with Rs 3,600 crore VVIP choppers deal case. Refuting the earlier media reports - which mainly quoted an Emirati lawyer - that the Briton has turned fugitive since a court order on his extradition, Patrizi says such claims are "fake".
