Bugatti Divo Would Look Spectacular In Just About Any Of These Liveries

Several weeks now since Bugatti lifted the veil off the new Divo, we’ve still only seen it in the one livery. And it’s a rather stunning one, we’d say, in matte grey with bright blue accents. But we can’t help but wonder what the French automaker’s latest would look like in other colorways.

Fortunately rendering artist Marco von Overbeeke has filled in the gaps with a series of potential color schemes for Molsheim’s latest, kindly sharing his ideas. And some of them at least look pretty damn good on the $6-million hypercar.

The lime green and black from the Aston Martin Vantage, for example, may not be to everyone’s taste, nor may be the olive green and orange. But we rather dig the Lotus/JPS-style black and gold, and the alternative takes on the French Racing Blue.

The Divo, for those just joining us, is a super-exclusive exotic that debuted at Pebble Beach last month. It packs the same 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine – all 1,479 horsepower of it – as the Chiron, but takes a decidedly more aggressive approach that’s focused more on handling than Chiron’s more laidback straightline approach. Only 40 examples will be made, each priced at €5 million (or about $5.8 million at current exchange rates).

With that few of them to be made, you can rest assured that no two will leave the factory in Alsace looking exactly the same. And Overbeeke gives us – and more to the point, those fortunate customers – a good idea or two at what they could (or maybe should) look like.
