KOLKATA: A two-month old boy was allegedly kidnapped from RG Kar hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
The infant was taken to the hospital by his mother, Mamani Begum, for a check-up. There, a woman struck up a conversation with Mamani, a resident of Tala. She said the woman pretended to be ill and requested her to get some food for her.
She left the baby with the suspect to arrange for food. By the time she returned, she had fled. The cops are scanning Metro station CCTV footage to identify the kidnapper.
