Divisional Commissioner MB Ojha suspended Chief Municipal Officer of Banagar Asha Bhandari under MP Pradesh Civil Service Rules for her negligence and irresponsible behaviour towards job responsibilities and non compliance of senior’s order. During suspension period Asha Bhandari will report to Joint Director, Urban Administration Ujjain. She has been asked not to leave headquarter without permission.
Collector Manish Singh made recommendation to MB Ojha for her suspension as she did not followed the orders of joint director, Urban Administration, she did not interacted with public representatives. Several complaints were filed against her on CM helpline. She was promoted as deputy commissioner municipal corporation Ujjain and were asked to join duty from August 1, 2018 but till September 17, 2018 neither did she joined the duty nor informed the authorities about the reasons of non compliance of order.
