GIRLS' SOCCER: Westport defeats Case 3-1

Marianela Dutra Africano, Jesse Skov and Laura Martel scored for Westport in an impressive 3-1 girls' soccer win over Case on Friday at Frank Souza Field in Westport.

Skov, Africano and Ashley Fay had Westport assists, and freshman goalkeeper Alora Dafonseca, in her first varsity start, made six saves.

Gabby Veader scored the Case goal.

Westport is 4-1.
