CHENNAI:
Actor Nilani, whose former boyfriend ended his life, attempted suicide at her residence in Valasaravakkam on Thursday.
Police said Nilani consumed
mosquito repellent and fainted. Her neighbours rushed her to the
Government Royapettah Hospital where she is being treated.

Nilani’s former boyfriend, Gandhi Lalith Kumar, died of burn injuries after he immolated himself on Sunday evening upset over the actor lodging a complaint at the
Mylapore police station.
Actor Nilani consumed mosquito repellent and fainted
In her complaint, Nilani alleged that Gandhi was pursuing her even after she broke off citing differences. The duo had been together for more than three years.
