Audi E-Tron Already Available to Configure and Reserve
The Audi E-Tron electric crossover is already available to configure and reserve.
The online configurator for Audi’s first ever mass production EV allows you choose from two different trim levels, ten exterior colors, two wheel sets and three interior environments.
Optional extras for the crossover include a $2,850 Driver Assistance Plus Package, a $900 Cold Weather Package and a $650 Towing Package. Audi Care is also offered for $1,000, which covers four schedule maintenance visits for the vehicle.
Standard equipment on the $74,800 E-Tron Premium Plus includes Matrix LED headlights, heated and ventilated front seats, navigation, a top-view camera with virtual 3D, a Bang and Olufsen stereo and the Audi Pre-Sense active safety suite. Stepping up to the Prestige package, which costs $81,800, adds the driver assistance package, a head-up display, contour seats with Valcona leather, massage front seats, power close doors and an HVAC ionizer.
You can configure your Audi E-Tron by accessing the only build tool at this link. Afterward, you’ll be asked if you want to plop down $1,000 to reserve the vehicle.
This isn’t how Audi typically sells its vehicles, but they must have felt compelled to offer reservations for the fully electric E-Tron because that’s what Tesla does. The transaction must be completed by your local dealer, however, so unlike Tesla, Audi’s not cutting the storefront out of the equation.
From launch the E-Tron will be offered with a dual-motor electric drive system that’s good for 402 hp. It boasts an estimated range of 250 miles WLTP from its 95 kWh battery and will accelerate from 0-60 mph in around 5.5s. First deliveries are expected to commence next year.
