HYDERABAD: Two lovers ended their lives by consuming poison at Tiruvuru in Krishna district. They killed themselves after their families refused to accept their relationship.
An Intermediate student, Srilakshmi, studied in a local college and took an auto everyday for her travel. Gradually she fell in love with the auto driver Thirumal Rao. The two got involved and decided to marry each other.

When the families got to know about their relationship, they strongly objected it as Thirumal was already married and had children as well. Both families tried to councel them but they didn't understand.

When Srilakshmi refused to listen to her parents, they lodged a complaint in local police station against Thirumala Rao. After this step, both Srilakshmi and Thirumala tried to commit suicide and were admitted to the hospital. Srilakshmi's parents got strict and didn't allow her to step out and meet him.

Recently Srilakshmi's parents again got to know that the two are meeting. Both families told them to leave the house and the couple left and got married in a temple. Srilakshmi and Thirumal called a relative at the wedding to meet them. The relative told them that he won't accept their marriage and that is when the two decided to 'leave the world'.

The two consumed poison and became unconscious. They were admitted to the hospital but both died while undergoing treatment.
