Meizu V8 and V8 Pro launched in China: Price, specs and more

Chinese smartphone maker Meizu today launched four new smartphones in China. The newly-launched smartphones are -- Meizu V8, Meizu V8 Pro, Meizu 16X and Meizu X8.
Both the Meizu V8 and V8 Pro are budget offerings from the company while the Meizu 16X and the Meizu X8 are two mid-range smartphones.
Meizu V8 and V8 Pro price and availability
There is only one storage variant each for both Meizu V8 and Meizu V8 Pro priced at CNY 799 (roughly Rs 8,400) and CNY 1,098 (roughly Rs 11,600). The smartphones are available for pre-orders on Meizu's official website as well as third-party websites including Tmall, JD.com, and Suning. The handsets will go on sale starting September 26.

The handset offers a 5.7-inch HD+ display of 720x1440 pixels resolution with 18:9 aspect ratio. Powered by MediaTek MT6739 processor, paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It runs on Flyme OS based on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
For imaging duties, it offers a single rear 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and two-colour dual-LED flash. On the front, it features a 5-megapixel camera with an f/1.9 aperture.
Backed by a 3,200mAh battery, it offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ GLONASS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro-USB port as connectivity options.

The smartphone offers the same display as the V8 -- 5.7-inch HD+ display of 720x1440 pixels resolution with 18:9 aspect ratio. Powered by MediaTek Helio P22 processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It runs on Flyme OS based on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
For imaging duties, it offers a dual rear setup including 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, both with an f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it features a 5-megapixel camera with an f/1.9 aperture.
