Vellore: Investigations revealed that though tatkal booking starts at 11 am daily and ends in around ten minutes, the portal was opened before 11 am by some unscrupulous elements, who then used stolen railway software to book tatkal tickets to sell them at exorbitant rates. During the raids at a few lodges in Vellore’s Saidapet, RPF arrested Jaydev (50) and Sammath (23), both from West Bengal, who confessed to the crime.  Further investigation is on.
