Instamojo's SmartLinks to improve payment experience for MSMEs

MSME focused digital payments platform Instamojo has launched an upgraded version of its payment link product for its customers named SmartLinks.

Through this new product, small merchants and business entities will be able to bring in new features to the payment link that they used to provide customers with in the past.

The Bengaluru based company aims to expand its customer base to 25 lakh from the current 5 lakh base and expects features like SmartLinks to help them in this journey.

“With SmartLinks, businesses can now optimize and customize their payment system as required, and with e-commerce growing at a rapid pace, SmartLinks is a service that can help merchants stay relevant,” said Sampad Swain, cofounder of Instamojo.

Swain said that SmartLinks could allow customers to auto expire payment links, provide an option to buyers to edit the payment amount, collect GST details during payments, change the colour of the link and others.
