Letter to the Editor: Don't just vote for the first seven on the ballot in Tiverton

I urge Tiverton residents to watch the June 25 Town Council meeting and witness just one of the many times Town Councilor Randy Lebeau acts childishly, rudely and threateningly. This particular example was over a simple matter: whether to allow a dedicated town resident to help oversee a project that he has so generously devoted his time to since its inception. This proposal would save the town money, and quite frankly, with the staff turnover in town, this resident was the most qualified person available.

Councilors John Edwards and Joan Chabot frequently vote along with Lebeau, and none of them should be on our Town Council.

We need our Town Council to act levelheaded and be truly informed on the issues. Tiverton can’t afford to keep getting into lawsuits. Please don’t just vote for the first seven names on the ballot, choose wisely. It is important for our town’s future.
