Tourism Toronto collaborates with Google

Andrew Weir, chief marketing officer for Tourism Toronto said that the collaboration will help in the destination marketing programs through a more robust analytics. Sophisticated measurement and deeper consumer insights help the country in being a leader in the industry.

 

 

Further the collaboration will see Google as one of Tourism Toronto’s major marketing channels that will help in the leveraging search reach through Google  and video reach through You Tube.

 

 

 

The major goal is to reach more people across the world showing interest in Toronto as a tourists destination.

 

 

Chris Adamkowski, head of government, tourism and airlines, Google Canada said that specific tools have been built for better understanding of Tourism Toronto and what kind of marketing approaches should be used in order to differentiate Toronto and attract visitors.

 

 

There were 43.7 million visitors in the region in 2017 and it was a record breaking years.
