Officials from the Delhi Secretariat welcomed the court’s summon of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and 12 AAP MLAs in connection to the case of alleged assault of Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash, and said that the stand taken by the bureaucracy has been “vindicated”.
“This is no longer a case of alleged assault... with the court deciding to take cognisance of the charges against the members of the political executive. The stand taken by the officers against the treatment meted out to the Chief Secretary has been vindicated,” said a senior bureaucrat posted at the Secretariat.
