The Congress President Mr.Rahul Gandhi launched the poll campaign for the upcoming Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha elections from a massive road show at Bhopal on September 17.
He presented a soft Hindu image on his recent visit to Kailash-Mansarovar and it was highlighted in rally posters of Mr.Gandhi in the 15 kilometer rally. Many Congressmen carried Lord Ganesh idol as a symbol of launching the poll campaign with ‘Sri Ganesh’.
After loosing Vidhan Sabha elections for three terms in succession now the Congress is coming up with determination to recapture the power. The Madhya Pradesh has a place of pride in developing 2-party system in India between the Bhartiya Janata Party and Congress.
If the Congress under the compulsion of poll alliance with other parties on national level will share seats in Madhya Pradesh also it will go against its status in the Madhya Pradesh. There should not be any type of or sort of coalition political set up in the state.
In the home state of Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi in Gujarat Mr.Rahul Gandhi performed very well in the Vidhan Sabha election. He secured more seats than earlier and reduced the number seats held by the BJP.
In Gujarat at the nick of time of elections the Congress leader of the Opposition Mr.Shankar Singh of Vaghela ditched the party by quitting politics otherwise Mr.Gandhi might have succeeded in capturing power there. He is a youth face of the nation that inspires confidence in him. In Madhya Pradesh Mr.Rahul Gandhi’s performance will be better than Gujarat. Now it is for the Congress leaders of the Madhya Pradesh to prove their metal.
