Australia to host six-month long cultural fest in India

An ‘Australia Fest’ is being organised to celebrate Australian culture in India. The Australian High Commission held an unveiling programme in Delhi on Tuesday to introduce the six-month long cultural festival. Harinder Sidhu, Australian High Commissioner to India, speaking about the festival said, “Festival will cover over 75 events in 20 Indian cities till March 19. The cultural events in this festival will cover everything from traditional cultural events such as music and dance and literature right through to the source of things that bind people together food and wine, sports. There is something for everyone, bringing 2 countries and cultures together.”
