Lille winger Nicolas Pepe is reportedly the latest transfer target for Manchester United, who remain interested in signing a right winger.

Pepe, 23, was linked with the likes of Sevilla and Southampton in the summer, with the Premier League club having a £12.5m bid turned down, according to ESPN.

Arsenal are also said to be monitoring Pepe’s availability, and Telefoot in France suggest United are now looking at the player having sent scouts to watch him.

Pepe has scored 18 goals in 43 appearances for Lille, as well as providing eight assists. He has scored three times in nine games for Cote D’Ivoire report the MEN.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan will reportedly offer defender Milan Skriniar an improved contract after seeing an initial €2.5m-per-season proposal declined.

Calciomercato say Jose Mourinho rates the Slovakian central defender highly, and would offer him around €5m a year (£4.4m a year), prompting Inter to raise their offer to a €4m annual salary.

Finally, Marcus Rashford has been receiving extra training from one of his more senior teammates at United.

Metro say Romelu Lukaku has been spending more than half an hour after every training session on the young striker’s movement, positioning and finishing.

Rashford has been the subject of much debate in the media regarding his playing time and development, but Mourinho launched a passionate defence of the time his number 10 receives in comparison to other young England players - a view echoed by Ryan Giggs.
