Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, The Bhopal School of Social Sciences organised an exhibition on Herbal Plants in order to motivate the students to seek the company of nature and to endeavour to become more humane in their approach towards life because plants are the best teachers to teach values,morals and ethics.
The exhibition displayed many medicinal and herbal plants. The message of environmental awareness was also displayed and it was established that plants are the best gifts on any occasion.
The event was organised by the Nature Club in collaboration with the NSS Unit, BSSS.
Dr. Fr. John PJ, Principal BSSS, appreciated the novel initiative n reiterated the importance of nature that nature works like a friend, philosopher n guide. Nature is our saviour amidst emerging pollution n restores the ‘panchtatva’ which is vital to our existence.
Dr. Vandana Jain briefed about the event that such events cater to mould and groom young minds to be more eco-friendly in their mannerism and behaviour.
Many competitions were also organised on the relevant topic like quiz, poetry and speech.
The NSS Incharge, Dr. DB Singh, in his speech, motivated the young students to be empathetic towards nature and preserve it for our own good. He also abridged them about various plants which help in many ways for eg. Ashwagandha, aleovera, paarijaat, neem etc.
