THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Directorate of
Kerala State Lotteries will announce the lucky draw for Thiruvonam Bumper BR-63 on Wednesday. The directorate will also announce the results of Akshaya AK-362 lottery.
The Thiruvonam Bumper is considered as the most important among the other state lotteries as it is conducted during the Onam festival. The winner of the lottery will take home Rs 10 crore as prize money.

Kerala State Lotteries is a state government run lottery programme which was set up in 1967 by then finance minister of the state PK Kunju Sahib. The private lotteries are banned in the state.
The govt sponsored lottery programme was set-up to provide employment to people and supplement government finance without disturbing the public.
The Kerala State Lottery Department conducts 7 weekly lotteries, each draw is held at 3 PM every day at Sree Chithira Home Auditorium, Thiruvananthapuram. Apart from weekly lotteries, the state govt conducts seasonal lotteries as well. The seasonal bumper lotteries include - Onam, Vishu, Thiruvonam, Pooja, X'mas- new year, Monsoon, Summer.
