Pune: Top city golfer Rohan Dhole-Patil sunk three birdies on his outward stretch and found a closing eagle in his home stretch to tally 41 stableford points to score a comprehensive victory over Aditya Garg to win the Pune Festival Cup golf tournament which was held at the Poona Club Golf course here over the weekend.

Zero-handicapper Rohan though opened with a bogey but then settled soon after to par three holes before he pulled out right clubs to kill three birdies in a space of five holes to wrap up his first nine holes in two-under 35.

Rohan was as confident as he could in his Homeward walk opening with two pars before a double bogey marred his card slightly.

Four pars on a stretch followed before he fired one birdie on the 17th hole before an eagle on the 18th helped him to three-under 33.
Eight-handicapper Aditya Garg finished as the runner-up in the Gold Division, five points behind Rohan at 36.

Urja Saina, who started with 22 handicap, won the Silver Division title with 44 points, while Ira Joshi (40) finished runner-up. 26-handicapper Anushka George won the Bronze Division title ahead of Sunil Thakur (25 handicap). Aryaa Gadekar walked home with the Closest to the Pin (Hole No 4) award.
