The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel snagged the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series at the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards Monday night. The win capped off a fruitful night for the series which also saw Rachel Brosnahan win Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and creator Amy Sherman-Palladino walk away with two awards, for Outstanding Writing and Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series.

Mrs. Maisel beat out Atlanta, which somehow came up empty Monday night, along with Barry, black-ish, Curb Your Enthusiasm, GLOW, Silicon Valley and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is the first streaming show to win Comedy Series. It's also the first hour-long show to win Comedy Series since Ally McBeal in 1999.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel's Alex Borstein also took home the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. The series previously won the Golden Globe for comedy series in January.
