THANE: Two persons suffered
minor injuries after a portion of a
concrete slab in their house came crashing down at
Louiswadi on Tuesday.
Officials from the
fire brigade, police and Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) rushed to the spot and admitted Nitin Gholkar and his wife to a private hospital. Disaster officer at RDMC Santosh Kadam said, “The duo were admitted to a Vartak Nagar hospital where they are undergoing treatment. We have alerted the concerned engineer who will carry out a survey of the place. A structural audit of the building will be carried out.”
