VARANASI: A video showing a woman cooking meal in toilet has gone viral on social media. It is claimed that the video was shot in waterlogged Fatehpur Sikander village of
Ghazipur district.
The local residents were shown in the video saying that when rain water entered her house, the women was forced to cook food in the toilet built on an elevated place.
As the toilet was being used as kitchen, the residents had to go for
open defecation.
Ghazipur SDM (Sadar) Shiv Sharanappa said the matter has come to his knowledge. “The area was inundated in water after rain last week. Arrangements are being made to drain out the water,” he said.
