Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises

Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finance, September 2018 at premium

The Nifty September 2018 traded at 11395.10, a premium of 17.35 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 11377.75 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 7.94 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 6.12 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the index fell 137.45 points or 1.19% to settle at 11,377.75.

Reliance Industries, Bajaj and were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. September 2018 futures traded at 1227.50, at a premium from spot closing price of 1224. Bajaj September 2018 futures traded at 2604.65, at a premium from spot closing price of 2596. September 2018 futures traded at 1365, at a premium from spot closing price of 1364.

The September 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 27 September 2018.
