Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Under the innovative and ambitious ‘Maa Tujhe Pranam’ scheme of the MP Government, a group of 72 youths left for the experiential tour of the Barmer Border by Bhopal-Jodhpur Express today. The group will return to Bhopal on 16th September 2018.
This group includes the youths from Vidisha, Sehore, Raisen, and Ashoknagar. MP Sports and Youth Welfare Joint Directors Dr. Vinod Pradhan and Mr. B.S. Yadav handed over the national flag, which will be hoisted at the international border, to Mr. Vishwanath Bundela, Group In charge & Raisen Football Coach.
Addressing the youths in a ceremony organized at the Major Dhyanchand Meeting Hall in T.T. Nagar Stadium Complex, Joint Director Mr. B.S. Yadav told the group members that they are fortunate to be a part of this tour. He said that the aim of this ambitious ‘Maa Tujhe Pranam’ Scheme is to instill patriotism into the minds of youths and inspire them to serve the nation.
He added that the army personnel are serving the nation in difficult circumstances at the borders and this tour is organized to make the youths aware of the hardships they have to face in everyday life. He and Dr. Pradhan gave the youths their best wishes and urged them to maintain discipline and decorum while properly following all the commands of the Group In Charge for their security during this journey, to keep the good name of the state intact.
Assistant Director and Scheme In Charge Officer Mr. O.P. Harod told that ‘Maa Tujhe Pranam’ Scheme has been operated since 10th June 2013 and around 11.000 youths have been taken to the experiential tours of the international borders till now.
