The CITU and the Vyavasaya Karmika Sangham district unit leaders have urged Thimmapur tahsildar Jagath Singh to implement Collector Sarfaraz Ahmad orders for the removal of illegal commercial structures in Survey Number 272 of the Thimmapur mandal.

The CITU and Vyasaya Karmika sangham leaders led by CITU district secretary Bandari Shekhar, Farmers’ Association leader Mathangi Shankar and others met the tahsildar on Saturday and submitted a memorandum urging him to remove the commercial structures and allocate land to the landless poor. They said that the Collector had issued orders E3/1692 dated July 19, 2018 for the removal of commercial structures.

But, the Tahsildar had not implemented the Collector orders, they stated and demanded the tahsildar to implement the orders of removing the commercial structures and threatened to launch a protest demonstration in front of the tahsildar office.

They also found fault with the revenue authorities for not implementing the Collector orders and replying in negative succumbing to the political pressures. They also said that they would also meet the Collector during the weekly Prajavani (public grievances redressal) programme on Monday and inform him about tahsildar ignoring his orders.
