Mumbai: Harbour line services hit as train engine breaks down in Kurla

MUMBAI: A goods train engine heading towards Trombay faced a breakdown at Kurla station on Friday resulting the the complete shut down of Harbour line train services. The services were resumed after 40 minutes.
While sources said that the evening peak hour traffic could be hit, railway officials denied this.

Railway officials said that the incident happened around 4.20 pm and the engine was removed from the cross over at around 5 pm.

There was massive crowd at Kurla station and on most stations along Harbour route.
