Assam’s Darrang Police extended helping hand to Kerala flood victims

Mangaldai : Darrang Police like many kind hearted benevolent organizations across the country has come forward to help the victims of the devastating flood of Kerala.  The district police team in a small but important contribution has donated an amount of Rs 42150.00 collected from all ranks of Darrang police to Kerala CM Distress Relief Fund to express oneness and solidarity with the flood affected people informed Superintendent of Police Sreejith Thiraviam. ‘We took the initiative to collect a minimum amount of Rs. 50.00 from the rank of constables to which the constables extended a positive response. All the officers also contributed voluntarily.’he included. Various circles have widely appreciated the spirit and the initiative of Darrang Police.
