Hyderabad, Bharatiya Janata Party National President Amit Shah will kick start election campaign for Telangana Assembly election in Mahabubnagar district, on Saturday evening.
Mr Shah will address a maiden election public meeting at MVS College ground before meeting office bearers of the state unit to discuss and chalk out strategy on the Assembly poll, according to party sources here on Friday.
The Party Chief is likely to finalise the candidates to be fielded from several assembly constituencies.The first list of candidates is expected after September 16 which will be about 30 candidates out of the total 119 assembly constituencies.
Telangana BJP Unit is planning to hold 50 public meetings in the next two months in all districts and important assembly constituencies where party have considerable strength.
