Karelibaug complexes fined over parking space

Vadodara: Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) slapped penalty amounting to Rs 21,060 to commercial complexes in the city asking them to clear parking spaces and make them accessible in the Karelibaug area of the city.
The complexes that were asked to pay up the fine are located between the stretch from VUDA Circle to Manek Park Crossroads and Amitnagar Circle to VUDA Circle. Prominent properties that were asked to pay fines include VIP View Complex, Sales India and Navrang Hospital amongst others.

The civic body also cleared around 800 square meter parking in six complexes during the drive. The drive has been taken up by the civic body as part of similar moves across the state after directives by the Gujarat high court.tnn
