PICT and VIIT secure victories with ease

Pune: Pune Institute Of Computer Technology (PICT), Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT) delivered impressive performances to secure victories in the Fireball XIX basketball tournament played at Bharti Vidyapeeth University on Thursday.

For PICT, Shruti led form the front scoring 10 points as her team ousted Bharati Vidyapeeth University Law College. Mansi also scored eight points for the victorious team. Vishwakarma Institute Of Information Technology (VIIT) secured a five points victory over Pune Vidyarthi Griha’s College Of Engineering (PVG).
VIIT was trailing 6-7 at the end of half time. After resumption, VIIT came out with a attacking approach to trounce PVG 15-10.

Among boys, Ness Wadi College of Commerce got better of Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Education 23-16.
