Johannesburg - When Dwayne Marx wanted to propose to his girlfriend Tayla Henshall this week he really pulled out all the stops.
Dwayne went big and got a huge billboard on the side of Johannesburg’s busiest intersection, the corner of William Nicol Road and Sandton Drive to pop the question.
The billboard read: “Tayla Henshall, will you marry me?” with #TaylaSayYes written below it.

Luckily for Dwayne, Tayla said yes.
How did he manage to pull it off? Well, Dwayne roped in the help of M-Net who saw it as a perfect opportunity to also launch the new season of The Wedding Bashers.
M-Net’s popular local TV series, The Wedding Bashers, returns for a second season this year and will be on air on Sunday, 14 October at 18:00.
According to M-Net’s marketing manager, Justin Jacobie, more than sixty people were involved in pulling off the stunt. After Tayla said yes, the billboard was replaced with an ad for The Wedding Bashers.
Dwayne and his now-fiancée met each other four years ago and are expecting a child together in November. The lovebirds are not looking to get married soon though, as their main focus right now is the arrival of their beautiful baby.
