PITTSBURGH, Sept. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from New Lebanon, Ohio, has designed a shovel that is ideal for digging and cleaning out trenches.

The patent pending TRENCH SHOVEL enables loose dirt and rock fragments within a machine-dug trench to be easily scooped and removed. It more effectively removes material from a trench than a standard shovel.

The invention helps to save time and effort when digging a trench, and the uniquely-designed handle facilitates a better and more ergonomic reach while digging.

The inventor described the inspiration behind the idea. "I was cleaning out a trench, and I thought there needed to be easier and more effective way to do this other than with a standard shovel."

The original design was submitted to the Columbus office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
