Haryana gang rape: Topper student raped by 12 men

In a brutal incident, a girl was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by a dozen men in Haryana. The 19-year-old survivor is a school topper and had made national headlines due to her academic achievements in 2016. The incident occurred during the day when the girl was abducted from Kanina in Mahendragarh district by 3 college students. The accused drugged her and then drove her to a field near the Jhajjar border where she was raped by the students and their accomplices. The girl, who was unconscious, was then dumped at the same bus stand in Kanina from where she was abducted. No arrests have been made yet, although the survivor has identified the three abductors.
